Pretty sick. I'm psyched for this game. It will consume me until Guild Wars 2 is released.

You can make ACTUAL money from this game with the real money auction house.

I love it when they make the trailers/commercials look like a film. :D

I'm personally not a fan of this game of how it is. I've played the beta and really loved it but the limitations of the always online is a bit too much for me, as well as the single player only and the fact it has a huge price tag of £50 means I won't be buying this game.

I'm probably going to buy Torchlight 2 instead, I think it's a hell of a contender to Diablo 3 and might actually be it's maker in the end.

It's not single player only, have you looked into the game? You can join random lobbies of people or play with your friends at ANY random point in the game. PvP is also soon to come.

Diablo 3 or Guild Wars 2 will be the game of the year no doubt.

It was a while since I checked on it's progress. The last time I checked it was single player only and needed a perma internet connection to play. I did check it out as 4 of my friends are diehard fans of Diablo and have been waiting for diablo 3 since Diablo 2 release.

I still say that Torchlight 2 will beat it in ratings though.

Diablo 3 had never planned to be a single player game, nor will it ever be.

And I highly doubt it any game like this will be the ratings. Diablo 3 is the most anticipated game of 2012 and likely to be the best game of 2012.

Hmm I guess there must have been false info sent to a few gamer websites then. :)

Hmm too much hype for me personally, I just believe that it's not going to be as good as everyone thinks and for £50 it's a bit pricy for something like this. It's the same reason why I didn't buy STOR.

$15 for Torchlight 2 makes it a very big contender for me personally and I'd buy it over diablo 3.

Honestly going into the beta I wasn't sure if it was a good buy, but it turned out to be thee greatest game I had ever played up until that point (which is now Guild Wars 2).

I can understand by the price, but even some of my friends who think they made a bad decision were shocked by how good of a buy it was.

Hmm I loved the beta of Diablo 3, but not to something that I loved it. There's a few games that I'd happily buy over it, then again it's not really my style of a game.
  8. Volux
Yeah there's always the question of whether or not you are into that style of gaming, which I am since I played Diablo 2 so much!

cant wait i played D2 to death since it came out and ive played the beta so much this game will be a big win for blizzard!!!!!

I've never played a single Diablo game, and yet I still have a blast listening to Diablo lore. It must be one of the best game stories of all time.
  11. Volux
I don't know a whole lot about the lore, but I will be paying attention to it in Diablo 3.

To me, the best game lore I've ever experienced is World of Warcraft. The books are amazing.
  12. Mike
Angels and Demons birthed the ancestors of Humans. These offspring had the potential to be more powerful than both Angels and Demons. The Humans were kept on Sanctuary, where no Angels or Demons were allowed to interfere. At the end of D2, the magic protecting Sanctuary had been corrupted, and was destroyed by Tyrael, an Archangel.

Diablo 3 picks up after 20 years of an unprotected, unregulated, Sanctuary, swarming with monsters of all imaginable forms.

    Hmm..nice read, thanks Mike. :)

I knew some about Diablo himself and Tyreal, and how they are returning and we're to destroy them. I may actually buy the book.
  14. Mike
There is tons of Diablo lore, including books, graphic novels, and of course the games themselves.
  15. Volux
Yep, Blizzard just released a new video called Diablo III: Wrath that has the past lore in it. A movie..someday?
  16. Mike
A movie would be cool. How would they do it though? Would it be completely animated? Or would it have live action filming and tons of CGI?
